Happy Tuesday! This week’s tip is about your park bag. I’ve mentioned in past tips about our fully-stocked backpack, and this time I’m going to share some details.

Bring a gallon size Ziplock bag. You need one. Not just for water rides like Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids either: I’ve gotten soaked on Pirates of the Caribbean! For rides like those or Maelstrom or basically any ride that might get you even the tiniest bit wet, stash your phones and wallets in the Ziplock. It’s really not worth the risk. That time I got soaked on Pirates, so did the backpack at my feet. Luckily for us, no electronics were damaged. But don’t let the one time you ever get wet on Pirates be the time your phone meets its end!

We keep a lot of other things in the gallon bag too: bandaids, pre-cut moleskin pieces, Shout wipes, lint roller, tissues, contact solution, comb etc. Having all that small stuff together in a clear bag makes it really easy to find what we’re looking for. That way, we can get what we need and get back to having fun!

Moral of the story: bring a Ziplock gallon bag!
