Main Street is a war zone when it comes time for Wishes. It feels like everyone on the entire planet is packed into a small space. Navigating the craziness can quickly get overwhelming and scoring a clear view of the castle gets frustrating.
Your answer is simple: leave Main Street.
You're probably gasping at me. How can I possibly see have a nice view of the fireworks anywhere besides Main Street you're asking. Fear not. You can have a lovely time watching Wishes from elsewhere in the park.
For firework viewing with plenty of elbow room, head to the back of the park. Most guests will be crammed into the front, leaving you feeling like you have the park to yourself. No crying kids, no toddlers atop shoulders to block your view, no worrying about staying within the tapes lines.
Another perk to watching Wishes from Fantasyland is how it changes your perspective onthe fireworks. You can see the bright bursts over not just Cinderella Castle, but also the Beast's and Eric's castles.
If you stand along one of the main walkways in Fantasyland, fireworks will erupt on either side of you, making it seem like you're surrounded by them. And that's pretty darn cool.
Still need one more reason to watch Wishes from Fantasyland? You'll be ready to jump in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before the crowds get there!
