Bring Some Princess Elegance to Your Home

To celebrate the new Cinderella movie, in theaters today, I want to share how I added a touch of magic to my home!
I tend to swing between wanting Disney characters in my home and wanting it to seem more "adult." My Pinterest page definitely reflects that paradox. It's probably because I'm a crazy Gemini, but it could also be because Brad and I are both grad student pseudo-adults desperately clinging to childhood.
This time, I channelled Cinderella's timeless elegance to dress up my coffee table. Plus, it doubles as some pretty spring decor!
I set the little clock to just before midnight, right before the magic disappears. I actually got the pumpkin carriage last fall, but how perfect for a Cinderella vignette! I took the fall foliage out and replaced it with the blue/purple hydrangeas. Since Cinderella's newest dress (and shoes!) have little butterflies, I included sparkly blue ones. For extra sparkle, I used blue glass shards and a tea light in a hobnail glass votive holder.

All told, I like that it evokes Disney magic, without being cheesy, and fits the "look at me, I'm sort of an adult" mood I'm currently in.
If you like my look, here are some links where you can find your own pieces: pumpkin coach, silk hydrangeas, clip on butterflies, blue vase filler, hobnail votive, tabletop clock.
How do you bring your love for Disney to your home?
