Main Street, USA is a lovely depiction of a utopian America. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy it? Have you ever thought about spending an entire day on Main Street? Sure, it means forgoing the dash for Splash, race for Space, and that absurd line for Arendelle’s finest, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a great day! Here are 25 things you can enjoy on Main Street.

1. Meet the Mayor- he’s often found in and around Town Square in the morning, following the opening show.

2. Main Street Vehicles- turn back the years and hop a ride down Main Street on a variety of old-fashioned cars and trolleys.

3. Character Meet and Greet in Town Square- there's no permanent character here, but I usually see Marie and Pluto

4. Town Square Theatre- Meet Mickey and Tinkerbell.

5. Enjoy Streetsmosphere- stop and watch the Dapper Dans, the Trolley Show, the Casey’s Corner Pianist, or the Philharmonic.

6. Harmony Barber shop- this is a working barber shop, and it’s a great place for a 1st haircut if you have a little one!

7. Search for hidden Mickeys- they’re everywhere!

8. Main Street Bakery- now serving Starbucks coffee, grab a drink and a find a spot to people watch.

9. Sit for a silhouette- you can find this on the alley off of Main Street, near the Crystal Arts shop, which brings me to...

10. Crystal Arts- the glass and crystal figurines are amazing and the glass blowing demonstrations are incredible to watch. I could spend hours in this place!

11. Move It Shake It Dance Party- bust a move with Mickey and friends.

12. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom- there are several windows on Main Street where you can play.

13. Grab a bite- there are plenty of places to chow down on Main Street. Take yourself out to a ballgame at Casey’s Corner, or enjoy a sundae at Plaza Ice Cream Parlour

14. Appreciate the names on the upper story windows and all the years of work that went into earning those windows.

15. Festival of Fantasy- this new parade features the classic Disney animated characters

16. Dream Along with Mickey- see Mickey and friends learn the magic and power of dreams

17. Flag Retreat- get your patriotism on and watch as the flag in Town Square is brought down every evening at 5pm.

18. Plan a Meal- table service restaurants are the Plaza Restaurant, Crystal Palace, where you can meet Winnie the Pooh and friends, and Tony’s Town Square, themed after the romantic night shared by Lady and Tramp.

19. Walt Disney World Railroad- if you get too antsy, hop on the train for a jaunt around Magic Kingdom. If you’re committed to remaining on Main Street all day, just don’t get off at Frontierland or Fantasyland, but it will give you something else to look at besides Main Street.

20. Take pictures- because who doesn’t need a selfie with the castle in the background? Don’t forget to pose with the statues of Walt/Mickey and Roy/Minnie, at either end of Main Street.

21. Watch the Cast Members in the Confectionary make those tasty treats- and then enjoy one for yourself!

22. Main Street Electrical Parade- either plan to see the later performance, or get your spot early.

23. Celebrate the Magic- a darling light show projected onto Cinderella Castle just before and after the fireworks, views are better on the castle end of Main Street.

24. Wishes- an amazing firework display over the castle that can be seen anywhere on Main Street.

25. Shop! Main Street is full of shops featuring all the Disney merchandise you could ever want.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. Main Street is so full of little details, just waiting to be discovered! It truly is one of my favorite places at Walt Disney World, and I hope you enjoy spending time there as much as I do!
